It’s OK

If you are a perfectionist like I am, give yourself permission….to be imperfect. Sometimes I find that I need to tell myself that IT IS OK, in order to accept reality. It’s ok if you have to say “I’m sorry,” or you get disappointed by something, or even fail. That isn’t the end. You can get back up again.

Sometimes it is hard to let go of trying to be perfect, because we want to control the outcome. But the honest truth is, we really didn’t have it in the first place. So let go. See it as freedom. It might be scary, but it is worth it.

And remember that more than likely, you aren’t the only one with struggles. If you admit yours, you will be amazed by the others who will tell you, “ME TOO!”
